Accounting firm Draffin Tucker has promoted Jake Kitchens and Ben Glass to partners, effective from 1 January 2025, in recognition of their leadership and contribution to the firm's healthcare practice. Both Kitchens and Glass have been acknowledged for their guidance to healthcare systems, securing new clients and overall contribution towards growth in the healthcare practice.
Draffin Tucker has named Jake Kitchens and Ben Glass as partners, effective January 1, 2025, recognizing their leadership and contributions to the firm’s healthcare practice.
Kitchens, who joined the firm in 2010, has provided guidance to hospitals and healthcare systems across Georgia and Alabama, both for-profit and nonprofit. After beginning his career in the Albany office, he transitioned to the Atlanta office, where he played a key role in expanding the firm’s presence in Alabama. Kitchens is active in firm committees, industry groups, and recruiting, and was honored as Troy University School of Accounting Young Alumnus of the Year.
Glass began with Draffin Tucker in 2011 and has built lasting relationships with rural hospitals, helping them navigate complex financial and operational challenges. As chair of the PPS Niche Group since 2018, he has advanced firm initiatives and contributed to industry knowledge through teaching and publishing. His community involvement includes leadership roles in the Artesian City Sertoma Club and the Albany Chapter of the Georgia Society of CPAs.
Managing partner Jeff Wright praised both for their dedication and impact, noting their pivotal roles in securing new clients and advancing the healthcare practice’s growth.
