Mark W. Plantz, a CPA with DWC CPAs and Advisors, has been promoted to Principal. DWC CPAs and Advisors, a leading accounting firm based in Grand Junction, Colorado, is pleased to announce the promotion of Mark W. Plantz, CPA, to the position of Principal. This advancement reflects Mark's dedication, expertise, and significant contributions to the firm since joining the Montrose, Colorado, office in August 2013.
With over a decade of experience in the accounting industry, Mark has developed a specialization in business and family-owned business tax planning and consulting, financial planning, international tax issues, and IRS representation. His diverse clientele spans various industries, including construction, health care, hospitality, professional services, homeowners associations, real estate development and investment, as well as families and high-net-worth individuals.
Prior to his tenure at DWC, Mark gained valuable experience working with tax and audit firms, as well as bookkeeping and payroll companies in Durango, Colorado. His comprehensive background has equipped him with the skills necessary to provide exceptional service and strategic guidance to his clients.
In addition to his professional achievements, Mark is actively involved in the community. He was recently elected as Secretary of the Montrose Recreation District, demonstrating his commitment to contributing to the well-being and development of the local area.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Fort Lewis College and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). His promotion to Principal is a testament to his unwavering commitment to excellence and the high regard in which he is held by both clients and colleagues.
