Minnesota-based accounting firm, Boulay PLLP, has announced Erik Allen as the new managing partner succeeding the retired Tom Johnson. Allen's focus will be on guiding strategic growth, enhancing automation, talent development, and structural efficiencies in order to improve client advisory services in line with the firm's long-established guiding principle, "Helping You Get There".
Boulay PLLP, a prominent accounting firm based in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, has announced the appointment of Erik Allen as its new managing partner, effective June 1. Allen succeeds Tom Johnson, who retired on May 31 after a distinguished career spanning over 40 years with the firm, including four years as managing partner.
In his new role, Allen will be responsible for steering Boulay's strategic direction, spearheading growth initiatives, and enhancing practice quality and talent development across the organization. Allen emphasized the importance of embracing foundational changes within the profession, highlighting the firm's commitment to advancing strategic growth, increasing automation, and driving structural efficiencies. These efforts aim to enable team members to focus more deeply on client advisory and deliver meaningful impact.
