Top US accounting firm Forvis Mazars has reappointed Tom Watson as CEO for another four-year term starting June 1, 2026. Watson, who has been instrumental in the firm's strategic growth and the formation of its global network, will continue focusing on strategic investments, client value, and team development.
Top 10 U.S. accounting firm Forvis Mazars has reappointed Tom Watson as CEO for a new four-year term, effective June 1, 2026. Watson originally led BKD before its 2022 merger with Dixon Hughes Goodman, forming Forvis.
Under his leadership, the firm achieved strategic growth and, in June 2024, officially allied with Paris-based Mazars to form the global Forvis Mazars network. Watson also serves on the firm’s management committee and governing board, bringing decades of leadership experience from prior roles including South Region managing partner and Dallas/Fort Worth/Waco market leader at BKD.
“Serving as CEO of Forvis Mazars is the honor of a lifetime,” said Watson. His focus will continue on strategic investments, client value, and unlocking team potential as the firm strengthens its global presence.
