Grant Thornton Names New Retail & Manufacturing Leaders

Audit, tax and advisory firm Grant Thornton LLP has appointed Lawrence Griff and Kelly Schindler to lead its retail and manufacturing industry practices, respectively. With a history in diverse sectors such as retail, media, manufacturing and aerospace, the pair are set to manage growth and operations across the firm's service offering, signalling Grant Thornton's dedication to specialized expertise in these key sectors.

Grant Thornton LLP, a leading audit, tax, and advisory firm, has announced the appointment of two seasoned professionals to lead its industry practices.

Retail Industry Practice:

Lawrence Griff has been named the leader of Grant Thornton's Retail industry practice. With nearly 15 years at the firm, Griff currently serves as an Audit and Assurance partner. He has managed a diverse client base of public and private companies across multiple industries, including retail, media and entertainment, professional services, and manufacturing.

Manufacturing Industry Practice:

Kelly Schindler has been appointed to head the firm's Manufacturing industry practice. Since joining Grant Thornton in 2011, Schindler has served as the market managing principal of the St. Louis office and is an Audit and Assurance partner. She brings over 20 years of experience across various industries, including manufacturing, aerospace and defense, automotive, chemical, life sciences, retail, distribution, technology, and food and beverage.

In their new roles, Griff and Schindler will oversee the growth and operations of their respective industry practices, encompassing a full range of audit, assurance, tax, and advisory services.
