Grant Thornton Appoints Tom Puthiyamadam to Lead Advisory Services Practice

Grant Thornton has appointed Tom Puthiyamadam as the national managing principal of its Advisory Services practice, signaling a strategic move aimed at accelerating innovation and performance across its advisory portfolio. Based in Chicago, the firm—reporting fiscal year 2023 net revenue of $2.4 billion—continues its commitment to leadership excellence during a pivotal period of industry transformation. 

In his new role, Puthiyamadam assumes full responsibility for executing the firm’s advisory strategy, encompassing innovation initiatives, operational oversight, financial outcomes, and service quality. His leadership extends to shaping the service line’s long-term growth agenda and guiding its integration with cutting-edge solutions tailored to meet evolving client needs. He also joins the Executive Committee of Grant Thornton Advisors LLC, positioning him at the center of the firm’s strategic decision-making.
