HHM CPAs Welcomes Clint Pearson as Partner in Memphis Office

HHM CPAs, a Memphis-based accounting and consulting firm, has appointed Clint Pearson, a seasoned tax and accounting specialist, as a partner in its Memphis office. Prior to joining HHM CPAs, Pearson served as the Managing Partner – Tax for Tennessee at BDO USA and held significant roles at Deloitte, bringing a wealth of experience in taxation, accounting, mergers and acquisitions, and complex financial advisory services.
HHM CPAs, a full-service accounting and consulting firm based in Memphis, Tennessee, has announced the addition of Clint Pearson as a Partner in its Memphis office.
With nearly three decades of experience in taxation and accounting, Pearson will provide clients with advisory services on tax restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, tax-free mergers, and other tax planning matters. He will also lead teams and offer guidance on complex accounting issues.
Jon Paul Davis, Managing Partner of the Memphis office, stated, "Clint's deep technical knowledge and proven leadership will be invaluable to our team and clients. His track record of guiding clients through complex tax matters and his reputation for delivering high-quality service make him an exceptional addition to our firm."
Prior to joining HHM CPAs, Pearson served as the Managing Partner – Tax for Tennessee at BDO USA, overseeing the Memphis and Nashville offices. In this role, he was recognized as a Regional Leader in ASC 740 Income Tax Accounting. His career also includes significant roles at Deloitte, LLP, where he honed his expertise in tax planning and advisory services.
Pearson holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Finance from Valdosta State University and a Master of Accountancy (MAcc) from the University of North Florida. He is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA), demonstrating his commitment to professional excellence and industry best practices.
