Jason Drake has officially taken over as the managing partner of Plante Moran, a leading audit, tax, consulting, and wealth management firm in the US. With a 25-year tenure at the firm, Drake has announced a new leadership team and pledged to uphold the company's values, grow strategically, invest in people and technology, and maintain the firm's "We Care" culture for the future.
As of July 1, 2024, Jason Drake has officially commenced his tenure as the managing partner of Plante Moran, one of the nation's leading audit, tax, consulting, and wealth management firms.
Drake, who has been with Plante Moran since his internship in 1999, brings nearly 25 years of experience to his new role. Throughout his career, he has focused on audit and consulting services and has been instrumental in expanding the firm's international offices and practice, which he led for six years. In 2021, he joined the firm's management team as group managing partner, overseeing offices in Chicagoland, Ohio, and international locations.
Upon his election by firm partners in November 2023, Drake emphasized his commitment to maintaining Plante Moran's "We Care" culture, which he credits for the firm's century-long success. He stated, "By being good stewards of the firm and staying true to our core values, I’m confident we’ll continue to grow and thrive for another 100 years."

Drake succeeds Jim Proppe, who served as managing partner for the past seven years. Under Proppe's leadership, Plante Moran experienced significant growth and maintained its reputation for exceptional client service and a strong organizational culture.
As Plante Moran embarks on its next century, Drake's leadership is expected to focus on strategic growth and investments in people and technology, ensuring the firm continues to adapt and thrive in the evolving professional services landscape.
