BKR International has appointed Jeremy Vokt, the former managing partner at Bland & Associates, as its new CEO, effective July 1, 2026. Vokt's wide-ranging experience, including tenure on BKR International’s Worldwide Board and chairing the Americas Region, is expected to steer the association's 130+ global member firms towards innovation, adaptation, and growth within the changing landscape of accounting and advisory.
BKR International has announced the appointment of Jeremy Vokt as its new chief executive officer, effective July 1, 2026. Vokt transitions into this role following his tenure as managing partner at Bland & Associates, P.C., a member firm of BKR International for over three decades. His extensive experience within the association includes serving on BKR International’s Worldwide Board and chairing the Americas Region, equipping him with a deep understanding of the global landscape and the challenges faced by member firms.
David Davis, chair of BKR International’s Worldwide Board, expressed confidence in Vokt’s leadership, stating, "Jeremy brings a strong combination of strategic leadership, energy, and genuine commitment to our member firms. He understands the value of relationships within BKR and the importance of helping firms adapt and grow in a changing profession." The board looks forward to collaborating with Vokt as they continue to build for the future.
Vokt succeeds Micheal Burch, who has served as CEO since 2024. Vokt expressed his enthusiasm for the new role, highlighting his commitment to working with BKR’s 130+ member firms globally as they navigate growth and evolution. His leadership is anticipated to drive the association forward, fostering innovation and adaptation in the ever-evolving accounting and advisory landscape.
