Bowman & Company LLP, a New Jersey-based accounting firm, has promoted Jie Yang to partner, effective July 1, recognizing her leadership and expertise within the firm's governmental services department. Yang's new role follows her extensive work in managing audits for various entities and contributing to the firm's internal development.
Bowman & Company LLP, a Voorhees, N.J.-based IPA 300 firm with FY23 net revenue of $19.8 million, has announced the election of Jie Yang to partner, effective July 1. Yang’s promotion reflects her extensive leadership and technical expertise within the firm’s governmental services department, where she has worked since 2011.
Yang manages audits for municipalities, school districts, authorities, and one county, ensuring compliance with the Single Audit Act, Contract Laws, and other regulatory mandates. Her experience also includes specialized auditing of student financial aid clusters and grant-related activities for county offices of social services and workforce development.
In addition to client-facing responsibilities, Yang contributes to internal development as a firmwide trainer and member of Bowman’s quality control inspection team, underscoring her influence on both technical quality and talent development within the organization.
