Brian Kuthy, a seasoned cybersecurity professional, has joined Indianapolis-based firm Katz, Sapper & Miller as director of information security. In this role, Kuthy will oversee the firm’s information security initiatives and work closely with firm leadership and IT teams to fortify compliance efforts and promote a proactive security culture.
Indianapolis-based Katz, Sapper & Miller has announced that Brian Kuthy has joined the firm as director of information security.
In this role, Kuthy leads the firm’s information security strategy and governance, overseeing initiatives designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of systems and data. He works closely with firm leadership and IT teams to strengthen compliance efforts and promote a proactive security culture aligned with business objectives.
Prior to joining Katz, Sapper & Miller, Kuthy served as information security lead at Everly Health, a cloud-native healthcare organization. There, he advanced a comprehensive cybersecurity roadmap and maturity program while aligning security initiatives with business goals. His work also strengthened compliance with frameworks and regulations including HITRUST, SOC 2 and HIPAA.
Kuthy brings more than a decade of experience building and leading information security programs in complex, highly regulated environments.
“An important lesson I’ve learned in my career is that security is as much about collaboration and trust as it is about technology,” Kuthy said. “The strongest programs come from helping people understand why security matters, not just enforcing rules.”
