LattaHarris Announces Leadership Transition

Chip Chaon has taken over as CEO and Managing Principal of Cedar Rapids-based accounting firm LattaHarris LLP, succeeding Chris Overturf from January 1, 2025. This leadership transition aims to maintain quality client services, boost growth, and uphold the firm's commitment to sustainability, with Overturf remaining active in the senior leadership team and focusing on expanding business valuation offerings.

LattaHarris LLP, a Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based accounting firm, has announced a significant leadership transition effective January 1, 2025. Chip Chaon has assumed the role of CEO and Managing Principal, succeeding Chris Overturf.

New Leadership:

In his new position, Chaon will oversee the firm's daily operations, focusing on growth, sustainability, and maintaining a reputation for quality and client satisfaction. With over two decades of executive leadership experience, his expertise spans business development, strategic growth, financial management, sales and marketing leadership, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, and continuous improvement. Chaon holds a Bachelor of Arts from Coe College and an MBA from the University of Iowa.

Outgoing CEO's Continued Role:

Overturf, who has led LattaHarris through cultural strengthening and technological advancements, will now concentrate on client services and expanding the firm's business valuation offerings. He remains a vital part of the senior leadership team and the executive committee, ensuring continuity and collaboration.

This leadership transition reflects LattaHarris's dedication to growth, collaboration, and excellence, aiming to enhance client services and innovative solutions under Chaon's guidance.
