LBMC Launches Family Law Support Services Practice, Adds Two Shareholders with Extensive Expertise

Brentwood, Tenn.-based LBMC, an accounting and advisory firm with FY23 net revenue of $207.2 million, has introduced a Family Law Support Services practice, bolstered by the appointment of shareholders Cheryl Panther and Scott Womack. This new practice will offer specialized expertise in handling litigated divorce and family law cases, as well as collaborative and mediation processes.

Cheryl Panther – Co-Leader, Family Law Support Services

With over 30 years of experience, Panther will co-lead the Family Law Support Services practice, providing financial clarity and expert advice to family law and estate attorneys and their clients. Previously, Panther led Panther Financial Planning, LLC, and Panther Financial Divorce Solutions, LLC, focusing on financial solutions for clients facing divorce settlements and estate matters. Panther’s credentials include CPA/Personal Financial Specialist, Advanced Divorce Financial Analyst, and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, along with certifications in collaborative law and mediation. She holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and an Executive Certificate in Financial Planning from Belmont University.

Scott Womack – Business Valuation and Litigation Support Expert

Scott Womack, an LBMC veteran, returns to the firm following his role as Senior Vice President at Mercer Capital, where he specialized in business valuation and litigation support for family law, particularly in divorce cases. With a focus on business valuation and forensic accounting, Womack also brings extensive experience serving as an expert witness in family law disputes. Additionally, he will lead LBMC’s Auto Dealership industry practice, offering specialized valuation and advisory services to dealerships nationwide. Womack holds a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University and has earned designations including Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) and Master Analyst in Financial Forensics (NACVA).
