Leadership Transition at Boeckermann Grafstrom & Mayer (BGM)
Bloomington, Minn.-based Boeckermann Grafstrom & Mayer (BGM) has announced a key leadership transition. Dane Boeckermann, who currently serves as Principal and President of CPA Services, has been appointed the new CEO, succeeding Cory Parnell as his term concludes at the end of 2024.
Boeckermann’s Vision for the Future
With over 19 years of experience in public accounting and a proven track record as President of CPA Services, Boeckermann is well-equipped to lead BGM into the next phase of growth. “I am honored to take on this role and look forward to building on the strong foundation that Cory has established. Together with our exceptional team, I am committed to driving our strategic growth plans and enhancing the exceptional service we provide to our clients,” said Boeckermann.
Parnell’s Legacy of Leadership
After 12 years of dedicated service as CEO, Cory Parnell’s tenure is drawing to a close. Reflecting on his time at the helm, Parnell expressed his gratitude to the entire BGM team. “It has been an honor to lead such an exceptional organization. I am excited to see how Dane and Jason will continue to drive our mission forward, and I look forward to supporting BGM in a new capacity,” he shared. Under Parnell's leadership, BGM navigated numerous challenges, including industry changes, tax reforms, and the pandemic, all while achieving continued growth.
Jason Marvin Named President of CPA Services
In another leadership change, Jason Marvin, Principal and Audit Practice Leader, will take over Boeckermann’s role as President of CPA Services. Marvin brings nearly 25 years of experience serving clients across various industries, including transportation, logistics, manufacturing, and construction. “I am eager for the opportunity to lead as President and to continue contributing to our firm’s growth,” Marvin said. “I look forward to working closely with Dane and the entire BGM team as we strive for excellence in every client interaction.”
