Lisa Heller Joins GRF as Nonprofit Tax Principal

GRF CPAs & Advisors has appointed Lisa W. Heller, a Certified Public Accountant with substantial experience in advising tax-exempt organizations, as a Principal in the Nonprofit Tax Services department. Her appointment is seen to deepen the firm's proficiency in nonprofit compliance and advisory, and is part of GRF's ongoing strategy to enhance its leadership team and commitment to delivering expert services to nonprofit organizations globally and within the country.

With more than 25 years of specialized experience advising tax-exempt organizations, Heller deepens GRF’s already-robust expertise in nonprofit compliance, advisory, and complex tax issues.

Heller’s background spans a diverse client base, including nonprofits, small to midsized businesses, and individuals—equipping her with a unique ability to bridge the operational nuances between exempt and for-profit entities. Her thought leadership is well recognized through her frequent writing and speaking engagements, particularly in the exempt organizations space. She has chaired the Greater Washington Society of CPAs Nonprofit Symposium and currently serves on the AICPA Exempt Organizations Tax Technical Resource Panel.
