Global public accounting firm MaloneBailey, LLP has appointed Mariano Frugone as an audit partner, where he will apply his vast experience in technical accounting and auditing consultation. The Houston-based company expects Frugone, who previously served as the National Office Director of SEC Services at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), to significantly contribute to its audit services, engagement quality review, training functions, and reinforce its expertise in SEC reporting and compliance.
MaloneBailey, LLP, a global mid-market public accounting firm based in Houston, Texas, has announced the appointment of Mariano Frugone, CPA, as an audit partner. In this role, Frugone will provide technical accounting and auditing consultation, leveraging his extensive experience with accounting practices and auditing standards, including US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), International Standards on Accounting (ISA), and US Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS). He will serve in MaloneBailey’s SEC Audit Practice and support engagement quality review, as well as the firm's quality control and training functions.
Professional Background:
Prior to joining MaloneBailey, Frugone was the National Office Director of SEC Services at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Houston, where he served Fortune 500 energy clients by reviewing their recurrent and transactional filings, ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC rules. He also conducted accounting and SEC reporting research and contributed to PwC publications on SEC topics. Frugone's professional journey includes significant experience in Argentina, where he began his career.

Frugone obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Public Accounting degrees from Universidad del CEMA in Argentina.
