In her new role, Shagat will support the firm's Real Estate and Restaurants Practices, bringing two decades of experience to the team.

Shagat has a strong background in auditing and consulting, having served clients in the real estate, healthcare, manufacturing, technology, and financial services industries. She has extensive experience with both public and private companies, including those with SEC reporting requirements. Her expertise encompasses acquisition and lease accounting, revenue recognition, SEC accounting and reporting, and Sarbanes-Oxley 404 internal controls.
