Randy Smith Named CIO at Blue & Co., LLC

Blue & Co., LLC Appoints Randy Smith as Chief Information Officer 

Blue & Co., LLC, an independent accounting and advisory firm, has announced the appointment of Randy Smith as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO), effective January 22, 2024. 

Managing Director Brad Shaw emphasized the strategic importance of this appointment, stating, "Our strategic vision forecasts continued strong growth and technology will play a critical role in achieving that vision. Randy’s focus will be on bringing innovative solutions to our clients and our staff to meet the demands in our vision." 

Smith brings 17 years of leadership experience, during which he has implemented strategic technology initiatives aimed at enhancing business processes, minimizing information security risks, and improving operations. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from American Intercontinental University and an MBA from Xavier University. His professional certifications include Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA), ITIL Foundation Certified, and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.
