REDW Advisors & CPAs has promoted Kimberly Mathews to the position of principal in its tax services sector. Matthews, with nearly 25 years of tax experience and a background in retail and human resources, will be tasked with leading tax strategy, improving client services, and aiding the expansion of REDW's nationwide tax practice.
Albuquerque-based REDW Advisors & CPAs has promoted Kimberly Mathews to principal in its tax services practice. Based in the firm’s Pacific Northwest office, Mathews will lead tax strategy, elevate client service initiatives and help drive the continued expansion of REDW’s national tax practice.
Mathews brings nearly 25 years of tax experience to her new role. She joined Grove Mueller & Swank in 2016 and became part of REDW following the firms’ 2023 combination, most recently serving as a senior tax manager. A second-career professional, she entered the tax field in 2002 after starting out in retail and human resources experience that strengthens her client-centric approach and commitment to staff development.
