REDW Promotes Caitlin Gutierrez to Risk Advisory Principal

REDW Advisors and CPAs has promoted Caitlin Gutierrez to the role of principal in its national risk advisory services practice. Gutierrez, who will provide strategic oversight for risk assessments, internal audits and advisory engagements, will also be responsible for advising clients on a range of risks, contributing to the growth of REDW’s risk advisory services, and continuing her active involvement in the profession and community.
REDW Advisors and CPAs has announced the promotion of Caitlin Gutierrez to principal in its national risk advisory services practice, strengthening senior leadership within the firm’s advisory platform.
In her new role, Gutierrez will provide strategic leadership and senior oversight for risk assessments, internal audit, and advisory engagements across REDW’s national client base. Her responsibilities include advising clients on financial, operational, regulatory, and technology related risks, while supporting governance, internal controls, and compliance frameworks. She will also contribute to the continued growth and development of the firm’s risk advisory services practice and will remain based in REDW’s Albuquerque office.
Gutierrez joined REDW in 2008 and has built her career within the firm. She began in the wealth management practice before advancing into portfolio management and SEC compliance roles. She later moved into the tax department and transitioned to risk advisory services in 2017, where she has focused on delivering risk management and advisory solutions to clients nationwide.
In addition to her client service responsibilities, Gutierrez is actively involved in the profession and community. She serves on the New Mexico Society of Certified Public Accountants board and has participated in several of the organization’s leadership and volunteer initiatives.
The promotion reflects REDW’s focus on developing internal talent and expanding leadership capacity across its advisory practices.
