REDW Names Brett Harman as Senior Audit Manager

REDW Advisors & CPAs has hired Brett Harman as Senior Manager in its Audit & Assurance practice group. Harman, a seasoned public accounting professional with a focus on audits in the affordable housing, real estate investment and nonprofit sectors, will be based in Albuquerque, lead audit teams, advise clients, and mentor upcoming professionals.

REDW Advisors & CPAs has announced the addition of Brett Harman, CPA, as Senior Manager in the firm’s Audit & Assurance practice group. Based in Albuquerque, Harman will lead audit teams, advise clients on growth strategies, and mentor rising professionals, while helping deliver efficient, cost-effective financial reporting and assurance services across REDW’s national client base.

With over 12 years of public accounting experience, Harman most recently served as a senior manager at CohnReznick LLP, where he specialized in audits for clients in affordable housing, real estate investment, and nonprofit sectors. His tenure included time in the Washington, D.C. area before relocating to New Mexico in 2017, where he has worked remotely for the past six years. Harman earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting, magna cum laude, from Elon University and is a licensed CPA.

Harman joins REDW during a period of substantial firmwide growth and leadership investment. He cited the firm's supportive culture and commitment to responsible expansion as key factors in his decision. “After many discussions with REDW leaders and learning about the positive and supportive culture the firm has built, as well as its responsible growth strategy, I knew this was the right move for me,” said Harman.

In addition to his professional expertise, Harman is deeply committed to community impact. He serves on the board of Casa Q, New Mexico’s only residential and transitional facility dedicated to LGBTQ youth at risk of homelessness. Supported by Bernalillo County’s Behavioral Health Initiative, the program provides housing and services for teens ages 14 to 17.

Harman’s appointment strengthens REDW’s leadership bench in New Mexico and underscores the firm’s continued investment in talent, community engagement, and client-focused service delivery across its expanding national footprint.
