RRBB Accountants and Advisors has added Dan Laidlaw to its team as a partner and managing member of RRBB Advisors LLC. Laidlaw brings along 20 years of experience in assurance and SEC practice, notably in IPO readiness, SEC reporting, and complex equity structures, and will focus on expanding the Somerset, N.J.-based firm’s business in the New York region.
Somerset, N.J.-based RRBB Accountants and Advisors has welcomed Dan Laidlaw as a partner and managing member of RRBB Advisors LLC. He joins the firm’s assurance and SEC practice, bringing deep experience in IPO readiness, SEC reporting, and complex equity structures.
Laidlaw has more than 20 years of audit and advisory experience, having supported clients through high-stakes financial events, including the IPO of a global e-commerce platform. His background includes senior roles at both global and mid-sized firms, where he served emerging growth and tech companies in the New York metro region. He’s known for translating complex reporting issues into actionable strategies that guide companies through market transitions.
A strong believer in mentorship, Laidlaw supports CPA candidates and junior staff through challenging audit engagements and exam preparation. Working remotely, he will focus on expanding RRBB’s services to New York-based clients. Laidlaw praised the firm’s culture as “client-centered and values-driven,” calling the move a natural fit for the next stage of his career.
