Professional services firm Sikich has appointed Julia Duquette, formerly a managing director at Grant Thornton, as an audit partner in its federal practice. She brings over three decades of experience in financial and performance audits, as well as process analysis and audit readiness reviews, to the role, where she will focus on enhancing Sikich's federal audit capabilities in line with their strategy to expand in the public sector.

Sikich, a global professional services firm, has announced the appointment of Julia Duquette as an audit partner within its federal audit practice. Duquette brings over 30 years of experience in financial and performance audits, operational and administrative process analysis, and audit readiness reviews.
Professional Background
Prior to joining Sikich, Duquette was a managing director in Grant Thornton's public sector audit practice, where she managed accounting and audit engagements for federal government clients.
Her extensive experience includes leading financial statement audits, conducting performance audits to assess program efficiency and effectiveness, and performing audit readiness assessments to prepare agencies for external reviews.

In her new role at Sikich, Duquette will focus on enhancing the firm's federal audit capabilities. She will lead audit engagements, provide strategic insights to federal clients, and mentor team members within the federal audit practice.
