Ted Kowalsky has joined leading advisory, assurance, and tax firm CohnReznick LLP as a Principal in its Government and Public Sector Advisory practice. With over two decades of experience in public administration, financial services, and information technology, Kowalsky will advise public and commercial businesses on maximizing government funding and tax support for community resilience, economic development, and sustainability projects.
CohnReznick LLP, a leading advisory, assurance, and tax firm, has announced that Ted Kowalsky has joined the firm as a Principal in its Government and Public Sector Advisory practice. In this role, Kowalsky will focus on advising public sector and commercial businesses on leveraging government funding and the tax code to support community resilience, economic development, and sustainability objectives.
Professional Background:
Kowalsky brings over 20 years of experience across public administration, financial services, and information technology. His expertise includes affordable housing, renewable energy finance, capital markets stabilization, homeownership preservation, environmental grants, and public sector sustainability. He has a strong focus on serving disadvantaged and underserved communities.
Previous Experience:
Before joining CohnReznick, Kowalsky served as Director of ESG and Public Sector Sustainability at a major advisory firm, leading a practice focused on national sustainability topics for commercial and public clients. He also held leadership roles at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, overseeing a $45 billion portfolio of large-scale stabilization, federal financial management, and grant programs.
