GRF Appoints Tom Myers as Audit & Assurance Partner

GRF CPAs & Advisors has appointed Tom Myers, a CPA with almost two decades of experience, as a Partner in its Audit & Assurance Services Department, enhancing the firm's expertise in government contracting. His robust background in auditing and business consulting across federal, state, local, and international government agencies, along with his mastery of technical standards, is expected to help the company navigate the unique challenges faced by government contractors.

GRF CPAs & Advisors (GRF) has appointed Tom Myers, CPA, CGMA, as a Partner in its Audit & Assurance Services Department, further strengthening the firm’s depth in government contracting expertise. With nearly two decades of experience, Myers brings a robust technical background in audit and business consulting for clients operating across a broad spectrum of federal, state, local, and international government agencies.

Specializing in assurance services for government contractors with revenues up to $500 million, Myers has worked in industries ranging from cybersecurity and aviation to physical security and strategic consulting. His mastery of technical standards, including ASC 606 (revenue recognition), ASC 842 (leases), and complex equity structures like private equity-backed investments and stock options, enables him to navigate the unique challenges government contractors face.

Myers holds an MBA from Loyola University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland. He is a licensed CPA in Maryland and a member of both the AICPA and MACPA. His appointment underscores GRF’s continued strategic investment in high-growth practice areas and client-focused leadership.
