South Carolina accounting and consulting firm WebsterRogers LLP has announced the opening of a new office in Spartanburg to support growth in the Upstate region and bolster its services in key sectors like healthcare, construction and real estate. Led by Laurence Fritz, a CPA with more than 14 years of public accounting experience, the expansion aims to enhance the firm's personalized service and contribute to the regional economy.
WebsterRogers LLP, a leading South Carolina-based accounting and consulting firm, has announced the opening of a new office in Spartanburg, marking its expansion into the state's Upstate region. This strategic move aims to enhance the firm's service delivery to a growing client base across key industries, including healthcare, construction, real estate, manufacturing, government, not-for-profit, and tourism hospitality.
Amy Urquhart, CEO of WebsterRogers, highlighted the significance of this development: "Our clients in the Upstate are experiencing remarkable growth, and we are committed to supporting them every step of the way." She emphasized that the firm combines the resources of a large organization with the personalized service of a business deeply rooted in South Carolina, positioning WebsterRogers to effectively assist businesses during this period of expansion. Urquhart added, "The Upstate's economic landscape continues to attract companies from around the world, and we are thrilled to be part of its ongoing success story."
Leading the new Spartanburg office is Laurence Fritz, CPA, who brings over 14 years of public accounting experience. Fritz has worked across various sectors, including manufacturing, real estate, construction, logistics, hospitality, retail, technology, and forestry. Before joining WebsterRogers, he served as a Director in PwC's U.S. Assurance Practice and spent two years with PwC Ireland's International & Domestic Business Group. His expertise encompasses revenue recognition, inventory obsolescence, real estate valuation, debt refinancing, 144A transactions, and other capital-raising activities.
Fritz is also actively engaged in the Spartanburg community, holding board positions with organizations such as the Spartanburg Area Conservancy (SPACE), The Advent Foundation, The Cleveland Opportunity Foundation, and serving as an Audit Committee Member for The Mary Black Foundation.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the new role, Fritz stated, "Building a practice from the ground up has long been a professional aspiration of mine, and I couldn't be more excited to lead this expansion." He acknowledged WebsterRogers' strong legacy of serving businesses across South Carolina and expressed honor in bringing that expertise and commitment to the Upstate.
