Stacy Farber, CPA, has joined regional accounting firm Whittlesey as an Assurance Partner. Farber, who brings over 25 years of experience in auditing and financial advising, was previously an Assurance Partner at a national accounting firm and was recognized as one of Hartford Business Journal’s 2023 Top Women in Business.
Whittlesey, a leading regional accounting firm, proudly announces that Stacy Farber, CPA, has joined the firm as an Assurance Partner. With over 25 years of experience in auditing and financial advising, Stacy specializes in assurance and advisory services for manufacturing, construction, closely held businesses, and employee benefit plans. Her expertise in regulatory requirements and dedication to client relationships make her a key addition to Whittlesey’s leadership team.
Before joining Whittlesey, Stacy served as an Assurance Partner and Connecticut Audit and Assurance Practice Leader at a national accounting firm, also holding the Northeast Benefit Plan Leader role. She has hands-on financial management experience as a CFO and Controller for closely held businesses.
Recognized for her contributions, Stacy was named one of Hartford Business Journal’s 2023 Top Women in Business and received the 2024 CTCPA Distinguished Service Award. She is active in her community and professional organizations, including CTCPA and AICPA, and will serve as the 2025/2026 CTCPA Employee Benefit Plan Committee Chairperson. Stacy holds a Bachelor of Science in Financial Accounting from Bryant University.
