Accounting and advisory firm Windes has appointed Sean McFerson as its new Managing Partner. With over 25 years of public accounting experience specializing in both domestic and international tax issues, McFerson's election positions Windes for continued success through bolstering its advisory, tax, and assurance services.
Windes Appoints Sean McFerson as Managing Partner
On March 1, 2024, Windes, a Long Beach, California-based accounting and advisory firm, announced the election of Sean McFerson, CPA, MBT, as its new Managing Partner, effective immediately. McFerson succeeds James (Jim) Cordova, becoming the ninth managing partner in the firm's history.
Professional Background
McFerson joined Windes in 2012 and has over 25 years of public accounting experience, specializing in both domestic and international tax issues. His expertise includes domestic and international restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and U.S. inbound and outbound tax planning. He has served high-net-worth individuals and clients across various industries, including technology, manufacturing, distribution, real estate, and transportation.
Educational Credentials
McFerson holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and a Master of Science in Business Taxation from the University of Southern California (USC). He also serves as a Global Executive Board Member of Allinial Global.
Firm Leadership
