Wipfli has announced the appointment of Charley Boyle as the firm’s new chief data and analytics officer, marking a strategic leadership move that underscores the firm’s commitment to advanced analytics and artificial intelligence (AI). With more than 20 years of global experience in decision analytics and digital data transformation, Boyle steps into this role with a clear vision to enhance the firm's data strategy and drive innovation.
Before joining Wipfli, Boyle held the position of Vice President at Fortive, where he led data strategy across three operating companies. In this capacity, he also served as the general manager for data and AI products, spearheading enterprise-wide AI integration initiatives. His work involved translating customer insights into scalable software-as-a-service (SaaS) offerings and optimizing user experiences, efforts that reinforced his reputation as a transformative leader in the field.
Boyle’s professional background is rooted in building high-performance data science teams and deploying cutting-edge machine learning models. His strategic focus has consistently been on harnessing data to develop monetizable products and scalable AI-driven solutions across a range of industries.
At Wipfli, Boyle is expected to lead the charge in embedding AI capabilities and data efficiencies into both the firm’s internal operations and client service offerings. His mandate includes the development of advanced analytics tools, data governance frameworks, and AI applications designed to improve productivity and generate measurable business value.
Kurt Gresens, managing partner at Wipfli, highlighted the alignment between Boyle’s expertise and the firm’s long-term goals. “His mission to drive innovation and help ensure excellence in data strategy aligns perfectly with Wipfli’s values and growth goals. He will help us enable more advanced analytics and AI capabilities to improve efficiencies at the firm in our work and in our work with clients,” Gresens stated.
Boyle brings a forward-thinking approach to his new role, emphasizing the need to position data as a business enabler rather than a standalone function. He envisions building a strong foundation rooted in data trust, governance, and sustainability. “My plan centers around building organizational trust in the data, establishing more effective data governance, and then creating a sustainable foundation for enabling advanced analytics and AI capabilities that deliver measurable business value,” Boyle explained.
With his appointment, Wipfli is reinforcing its dedication to technology-driven growth and client-centric innovation, leveraging Boyle’s experience to elevate its data and analytics strategy across the board.
Until next time…
