Top 100 IPA firm, Withum, with a net revenue of $584.2 million in FY24, has announced several leadership transitions across its industry and service teams, regional offices, and internal team resource groups, effective from July 1. These changes, which include new leaders such as Matt Walsh, Michael George, and Mike Mulhearn, underscore Withum's focus on inclusive leadership development, strategic succession planning, and growth through internal promotions and strategic integration of acquired firms.
Withum, a Top 100 IPA firm with FY24 net revenue of $584.2 million, is rolling out a wave of leadership transitions effective July 1, spanning its industry and service teams, regional offices, and internal team resource groups (TMRGs). These changes reflect the firm's continued growth and its commitment to strategic succession planning.
Industry and Service Team Appointments
Matt Walsh has been promoted to lead the industrial and consumer products services team.
Michael George will head the healthcare services team, succeeding Scott Mariani.
Mike Mulhearn takes over as leader of the dealerships services team.
Wally Merkas will now serve as market leader for business and management consulting services, succeeding Joe Riccie.
Regional Leadership Changes
Tom Hoberman was promoted to chief growth officer earlier this year, replacing Kirk Holderbaum.
Scott Reddersen becomes Partner-in-Charge (PIC) of the Baltimore office, succeeding Scott Price.
Lenny Smith is now PIC of the Seaport (Boston) office, following Steve Yardumian.
Steve Edelheit has been named PIC of the Chicago office, post-merger with CTM.
Chris Hatten steps in as PIC of the Houston office, following the union with PKF Texas.
TMRG (Team Member Resource Group) Leadership Updates
Jesse Sherar and Julie Au are the new co-leads of the Veterans TMRG, succeeding Jose Alicea.
Andrea Fernandez joins the HOLA TMRG leadership team.
Brian Koon is now part of the ASPIRE TMRG leadership group.
These transitions underscore Withum’s emphasis on inclusive leadership development and growth through internal promotions and strategic integration of acquired firms.
