Stephen Varley has been appointed as interim CEO of Allinial Global, a leading association of independent accounting and consulting firms, as the organization searches for a successor to outgoing CEO Mark Koziel. Varley, who has over 30 years of experience in the field and has served as COO and EVP of Technical Services at Allinial Global, will help guide the association through this transition period.
Leadership Transition at Allinial Global
Lawrenceville, Ga.-based Allinial Global, a leading association of independent accounting and consulting firms, has appointed Stephen Varley as interim CEO, effective immediately. This leadership change comes as the organization searches for a permanent CEO to succeed Mark Koziel, who will be stepping down in January 2025 to take on the role of CEO of AICPA and CIMA, together forming the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants.
Stephen Varley's Extensive Experience
Varley brings over 30 years of experience in public accounting and industry, having served as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Technical Services at Allinial Global since 2021. During his ten years with the organization, Varley has gained deep insights into the strategic direction and operational requirements of Allinial Global, positioning him as an ideal leader to guide the association through this transitional period.
