KPMG Debuts “Workbench,” a Scalable Multi-Agent AI Platform for Trusted Global Deployment

KPMG has launched KPMG Workbench, a multi-agent AI platform aimed at expanding AI adoption across its global network. This marks a significant commitment to AI in professional services, with the platform offering integrated and scalable solutions, 50 interoperable AI agents, and compliance with BSI/ISO 42001 certification for AI management.
In a major leap for AI-driven professional services, KPMG LLP has launched KPMG Workbench, a proprietary multi-agent AI platform designed to integrate and scale AI adoption across its global network. The platform anchors the firm’s multibillion-dollar AI and agentic transformation investment, serving as the backbone for delivery tools like KPMG Clara, Velocity, and Digital Gateway.
Workbench already includes 50 interoperable AI agents (with 1,000 more in development), trained to assist KPMG professionals across various domains, industries, and client tasks. It operates on Microsoft Azure AI Foundry Services and seamlessly connects with alliance partners like Oracle, Salesforce, and Workday. Clients can select the most appropriate model or assistant per task, empowering both flexibility and innovation.
In a first for the industry, every Workbench agent carries KPMG’s “Trusted AI stamp,” and the platform has earned BSI/ISO 42001 certification for AI management. With built-in data sovereignty, Workbench enables clients to control data storage, processing, and governance in line with local and global regulations. “This foundational platform integrates advanced AI with our global expertise—delivering smarter, secure solutions, faster,” said David Rowlands, Global Head of AI.
