Houston-based accounting firm Weaver has opened a new office in Denver as part of its national expansion strategy. The move, led by James Jones alongside partners Tony Miller and Leanne Sobel, will offer increased support to clients and expand the firm’s client base in the region due to Denver's robust business climate and growth potential.
Houston-based firm Weaver has opened a new office in Denver, marking another step in the firm’s national expansion strategy. The new location at 1125 17th Street strengthens Weaver’s presence in the Rocky Mountain region and enhances its ability to serve clients across diverse and high-growth industries.
James Jones, partner, audit – energy, has relocated from Midland, Texas, to serve as executive partner for the Denver office. Jones will lead the growing team alongside partners Tony Miller and Leanne Sobel, both specializing in energy compliance services. Together, they will focus on building a strong regional footprint while maintaining close collaboration with Weaver’s Midland office and national energy practices.
“Establishing a presence in Denver allows us to better support our clients in the region with local insight and national resources,” said John Mackel, CEO and MP of Weaver. “The city’s strong business climate, access to top talent and concentration of high-growth industries make it a strategic location for launching operations and expanding our client base.”
Designed with a flexible, hybrid-friendly layout, the new downtown office features mountain views and proximity to Skyline Park. Weaver partnered with Citadel Partners of Dallas to complete the lease transaction.
“Nationwide, Weaver has offices in central hubs where our employees want to live, work and play. Denver is no different,” Jones said. “I look forward to leading our office here, engaging in the local business community and contributing to Weaver’s continued growth.”
Until next time…
