Financial and insurance services company CBIZ has acquired technology solutions provider CompuData to broaden its tech capabilities and services. The deal is part of CBIZ's strategy to meet the growing demand for integrated financial and technological services.
CBIZ Acquires CompuData to Enhance Technology Solutions
On March 6, 2024, CBIZ, Inc., a leading provider of financial, insurance, and advisory services, announced the acquisition of CompuData, Inc., a Philadelphia-based technology solutions provider. The acquisition, effective March 1, 2024, aims to expand CBIZ's technological capabilities and service offerings.
About CompuData
Founded in 1971, CompuData specializes in delivering technology solutions tailored for small and mid-sized organizations. Their services include cloud computing, accounting ERP software, managed IT, and cybersecurity, enabling clients to scale, protect, and streamline their operations. CompuData is recognized as a Sage Diamond Partner and holds Microsoft Partner designations in both Azure Cloud and Modern Work. The firm employs approximately 60 professionals and generates around $20 million in annual revenue.

This acquisition aligns with CBIZ's strategy to enhance its service offerings and expand its market presence.
