Despite the overall increase, the financial boost was mainly seen in developed nations, who saw an 11% rise, while developing economies only rose by 2%, with high-tech sectors such as AI infrastructure, advanced technology, energy transition and semiconductors capturing 44% of global greenfield investment value.
