Professional services firm EY is implementing artificial intelligence (AI) across its global assurance practice using tools such as GenAI-driven knowledge search and automated audit checklists to improve its large-scale auditing process. This move, which will impact around 130,000 professionals in over 150 countries, will embed AI into the firm's daily operations and aims to complete end-to-end audits by 2028, reducing administrative tasks and improving risk assessment while increasing efficiency and accuracy in audit workflows.
