The IRS has extended key filing deadlines to February 3, 2025, for those affected by severe storms and flooding in Minnesota and Hurricane Debby in the Carolinas, Florida, and Georgia. The extended deadlines apply to 2023 federal income tax returns, quarterly estimated tax payments, and quarterly payroll and excise tax returns providing substantial relief for tax professionals and their clients, including small businesses and those whose records are in the affected areas, even if they are located elsewhere.
