Atlanta-based accounting firm Moore Colson has announced the admission of Tracy Burton as a partner in the firm’s tax practice. The promotion reflects Burton’s technical expertise, leadership contributions, and growing role in serving the firm’s real estate and private equity clients.
Burton joined Moore Colson in 2019 as a tax senior manager and was promoted to director in 2023. She brings more than 16 years of experience advising clients in the private equity and real estate sectors, including residential, industrial, and commercial real estate. Her background includes supporting fund managers and investors with complex tax matters across multiple real estate structures.
At Moore Colson, Burton focuses on tax compliance and planning for real estate funds and managers. Her experience includes tax structuring and compliance for real estate investment trusts, as well as advising on complex partnership tax issues. Her work supports clients navigating regulatory requirements while aligning tax strategies with broader investment objectives.
