Andersen, a prominent San Francisco-based professional services firm, has announced the launch of Andersen Consulting, a global practice designed to integrate innovative business strategies with digital transformation and AI-driven technology solutions. This initiative aims to complement Andersen Global's established expertise in tax, legal, valuation, and global mobility services.
Chairman and CEO Mark Vorsatz emphasized the firm's commitment to addressing the evolving needs of clients: "Our clients are seeking innovative strategies to stay ahead in a dynamic marketplace. Andersen Consulting was established to guide businesses through this transformation." In a remarkable six-month period, the firm has expanded its consulting presence to 66 countries, employing 3,000 professionals, with an ambitious goal of reaching $1 billion in revenue within three years.
Distinguishing itself from traditional models, Andersen Consulting operates without the audit-related conflicts that often affect other major firms, allowing for independent and client-focused advisory services. This autonomy enables the firm to offer objective, strategic guidance aimed at enhancing efficiency, decision-making, and operational transformation for its clients.
To lead this global consulting endeavor, Andersen has appointed George Shaheen, the former CEO of Andersen Consulting prior to its separation from Arthur Andersen. Shaheen is joined by senior leaders from other top-tier consulting firms, all of whom recognize the need for a specialized, independent, and forward-thinking consulting model.
Shaheen highlighted Andersen's extensive global reach, noting that with a presence in 179 countries, the firm offers an unparalleled platform for delivering seamless cross-border solutions. This infrastructure supports the integration of technology and advisory services across diverse industries and regions, positioning Andersen Consulting as a formidable player in the global consulting arena.
