KPMG has formed a strategic alliance with Anthropic to integrate the AI capabilities of Claude Cowork into its global client delivery platform, marking a shift from isolated AI tools to an integrated approach. The collaboration aims to expedite processes and enhance services for tax and legal clients, offer tailored AI-based solutions for specific challenges, and avails AI tools to all KPMG professionals, reinforcing the company's commitment towards embedding AI in daily operations and delivering innovative client solutions.
KPMG, a leading global professional services firm, has announced a strategic alliance with Anthropic to integrate Claude Cowork into its global client delivery platform. This collaboration aims to enhance KPMG's service offerings, particularly for tax and legal clients, by embedding advanced AI capabilities directly into its Digital Gateway platform.
The partnership marks a significant shift in how KPMG delivers AI solutions, moving from fragmented tools to a more integrated approach. By embedding Anthropic's Claude LLM into core platforms, KPMG can now develop and scale AI solutions more efficiently. This integration is expected to streamline processes, reducing the time required to build AI agents for tasks such as adjusting to changing tax regulations from weeks to mere minutes.
Beyond enhancing client services, the alliance will provide all 270,000 KPMG professionals with access to Claude's suite of AI capabilities. This access is not limited to client-facing roles but extends to internal workflows, making AI a fundamental part of daily operations. The collaboration also includes co-developing AI-based product offerings tailored to specific client challenges, such as transforming legacy systems into cloud-native solutions.
KPMG will serve as Anthropic's preferred consultant for private equity clients, leveraging its expertise to deploy AI capabilities effectively. This role underscores KPMG's commitment to expanding its AI capabilities and providing industry-specific solutions. The firm is investing in large-scale training to ensure its teams are equipped to utilize Anthropic's technology fully.
This alliance is part of KPMG's broader strategy to partner with major AI providers, building on previous collaborations with companies like Google Cloud. By embedding Claude directly into its flagship client delivery platform, KPMG sets a precedent as the first Big Four firm to integrate such advanced AI capabilities, reinforcing its position as a leader in innovative client solutions.
