Governor Mike Kehoe of Missouri signed Senate Bill 1233, introducing a new pathway for CPA licensing that allows for candidates to replace 30 additional college credit hours with another year of professional experience. This approach aims to encourage more students to pursue licensing by reducing the financial burden of an additional year of college, with the state joining over 40 jurisdictions in adopting similar reforms.
