Professional journey, skills, and background

Benjamin graduated from the University of Texas Business School with a Bachelors and Masters in Accounting. After graduating, Benjamin began his public accounting career with KPMG. He has also worked at Ryan, a leading global tax services firm, and also with PMB Helin Donovan. In addition to public accounting experience, Benjamin has worked in tax departments at Valero Energy, a Fortune 20 oil and gas company, Whole Foods, a publicly traded specialty grocer, and Dupon Photomask, a privately held company in the semiconductor industry. Before joining The Wenmohs Group, Benjamin was the Director of Tax at EZCORP, and spent 7 years with the publicly traded company. Benjamin also served as the President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer in the Austin/San Antonio Chapter of the Tax Executives Institute (TEI), an international professional organization. Due to his industry experience, Benjamin brings a different view point than most public accountants since he also considers the internal non-tax issues. Benjamin prefers the outdoors and looks forward to road tripping with the family.
