The presentation was very informative. We have been MYCPE ONE clients for several years but were not sure of the changing requirements to receive consent to use offshoring to prepare tax returns. Shawn did an excellent job of explaining what we needed to do.
We took consent across all clients' firm-wide and saw great success. Clients sign a consent form before receiving organizers, send separately from engagement letters. MYCPE ONE is mentioned, and new clients are informed upfront about our onshore and offshore operations. Only three clients opted for “non-consent,” with higher fees due to government conflicts. We use SafeSend for document deliveries and share a PowerPoint introducing MYCPE ONE as part of our team.
