Interned at a Public Accounting Firm (India) 
  • Gained hands-on experience in tax preparation, planning, and audits.
  • Managed client engagements within two months, building a foundation in accounting and client service.
2003 - 2007
Insurance & Investment Advisor (India) 
  • Took on a part-time role as an insurance and mutual fund reseller during the CA internship to contribute to my family's well-being and gain valuable skills in financial planning and customer engagement.
  • Obtained licenses from IRDA and NISM, gaining crucial insights into personal sales and business development.
2007 - 2010
Practicing Public Accountant (India)
  • Completed his Chartered Accountancy (CA) qualification. This achievement reflects a commitment to professional excellence and a strong foundation for addressing complex financial challenges.
  • Established and managed his own practice, offering comprehensive financial services to clients.
2009 - 2014
Rose to CFO at ERIS (India) 
  • Played a pivotal role in ERIS’s growth from a startup to a $2 billion publicly listed company.

Lessons from a Failed Pharma Venture (India)
  • Ventured into pharmaceuticals but faced setbacks that became a humbling experience that fueled my resilience and determination to succeed.

  • Gained firsthand experience in US accounting and tax filings such as 1040 and 1120S, as well as performing audit and financial statement work, recognizing staffing challenges and envisioning outsourcing as a solution.
