Professional journey, skills, and background

Hi – I’m a member of the NYS Bar since 1984 and admitted to practice before the US Tax Court. My experience spans all aspects of international tax and cross-border transactions. Appointed a contributor on Forbes covering US international tax issues, I made a name for myself in Asia and the Middle East as a go-to US tax expert. I’ve been profiled in Tax Notes International as an important tax figure; been quoted in the NYT, WSJ & Newsweek. My blog "US Tax Talk" is well known. I’m listed on Forbes’ top 100 Tax Twitter accounts, named by Bloomberg as a tax pro to follow. I experienced being a professional working mom while living in Asia, and later the Middle East. Traversing motherhood & 2 new countries where I was a foreigner without a support group was a tough journey. I love teaching /supporting young pro's who never give up!
