Hi, I'm Ilene Slatko, a financial planning and retirement planning professional. I spent 30 years in the financial services industry and have now spent the last decade putting my experience and knowledge to use in teaching others. As a former sales manager in a brokerage firm, my job was to educate brokers on listening to and advising clients, explaining complex financial topics, and approaching their business in a holistic way. Now, I get the opportunity to reach more professionals and individuals through several online platforms, my work as a retirement expert with the federal government, and as a contributor to online publications focusing on retirement-ready clients and advisors.
