Professional journey, skills, and background

Ten years ago, I left a job as the Director of Finance for one of Mississippi's largest art museums to return to my career in auditing. Prior to working at the Mississippi Museum of Art, I worked in public accounting in two firms where I specialized in auditing. In 2013, I returned to auditing, albeit this time in a more specialized area. For ten years I served at the Mississippi Office of the State Auditor in the Financial and Compliance Audit Division. I started as an audit supervisor and quickly worked my way up the chain to the position of Deputy State Auditor. After ten years of public service, I left and founded my own firm with three of my co-workers. In January 2024, our firm, Novum Advisory, PLLC was officially opened and we have worked exhaustively since then specializing in and serving state and local governments.
