Job Title: US Accounting & Advisory Intern

Qualification: MBA / CMA (Pursuing or Completed)
Shift Timing: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM (IST)
Stipend: ₹15,000 per month

 

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated US Accounting & Advisory Intern to support our team in managing US-based clients. This role provides hands-on exposure to US accounting practices, financial reporting, and advisory services, along with compliance requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in bookkeeping and maintenance of financial records for US clients.
  • Support preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
  • Help in identifying discrepancies and ensuring accuracy of financial data.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for client accounts and engagements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Use accounting software for data entry, processing, and reporting.
  • Assist in basic financial analysis and provide support for advisory engagements.

 

Requirements

  • MBA or CMA (pursuing or completed) in Finance / Accounting.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (basic formulas, data handling).
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Willingness to work in US shift (3:00 PM – 12:00 AM IST).

 

Preferred Skills

  • Basic knowledge of US accounting practices (a plus, not mandatory).
  • Familiarity with tools like QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
