Yes, CPA-YT allows members to complete 100% of their CPD hours through self-study.
Eligible learning activities include:
- Verifiable CPD is a learning activity that results in evidence that learning took place and the learning can be verified objectively by someone else.
- Unverifiable CPD are those learning activities that do not result in a product or for which no evidence of the learning exists and more.
CPD hours for a calendar year must be reported by December 31st annually.
Members must renew their license by March 31st of the following year.
No, CPA-YT cannot carry forward excess CPD to the next reporting cycle.
Members must maintain CPD records for at least 5 years, as they may be subject to audit by CPA Yukon.
