  • CPAs in public practice must include 24 credits in Accounting or Auditing within those 72 technical credits.

31 December triennially.

Reporting

Renew CPE by December 31 triennially, if failed to renew by this date then CPA will be required to pay late renewal fees of $ 50. View more

Carry forward of credits is not allowed.
Record Retention
Maintain records of completed CPE credits for 5 years as they may be subject to audit by the state board.
Renewal Fees
The renewal fee for New Jersey CPAs is $135.
