Reading-based accounting firm Herbein + Company, Inc. has announced its acquisition of Wilmington-based Bumpers & Company, marking Herbein's first expansion into Delaware. The move, intended to enhance Herbein's national and international client services, sees the Wilmington office become central to Delaware operations, with all Bumpers staff transitioning to Herbein while upholding their legacy of client and community-focused service.
Reading, Pa.-based **Herbein + Company, Inc.** (FY23 net revenue: $52.2 million), a prominent firm, has announced its acquisition of Wilmington, Del.-based **Bumpers & Company**. The acquisition, effective October 28, 2024, marks Herbein’s first expansion into Delaware, advancing its strategic plan to enhance its national and international client services.
Strategic Growth Through Regional Expansion
This acquisition reflects Herbein’s ongoing mission to broaden its geographical footprint while maintaining its commitment to delivering exceptional client service. The Wilmington office will serve as a cornerstone for Herbein’s Delaware operations, further cementing its reach across the United States and beyond.
